Theresa Burke

Physiotherapist

 

Theresa has been a valued member of the Quinte Orthopaedics team since 2019, bringing a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University.

Her diverse clinical experience spans several provinces—including New Brunswick, Ontario, and Saskatchewan—allowing her to develop a well-rounded and adaptable approach to patient care.

Theresa is also certified in acupuncture, dry needling, soft tissue release, manual therapy, and movement analysis, all of which support her commitment to evidence-based, holistic rehabilitation. In addition, she holds a 200-hour Yoga Alliance teaching certification. While she is not currently teaching yoga classes, Theresa thoughtfully incorporates yoga philosophies and techniques into her treatment plans, enhancing patient recovery and well-being.

Outside of the clinic, Theresa is a busy mom of three and shares her home with a gentle Great Dane. Her passion for learning and dedication to her patients continue to shape her evolving practice.
