Orthopaedic Surgery

Dr. Herbert Ling brings decades of experience and specialization to the field of orthopaedic surgery. He earned his Medical Degree from McGill University in Montreal in 1982 and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Queen’s University in 1987. During his fellowship, Dr. Ling trained under renowned surgeons at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto—working with Dr. R. Bell in tumour surgery, Dr. R. Richards in upper extremity reconstruction, and Dr. J.P. Waddell in joint reconstruction.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Ling practiced at York Central Hospital in Richmond Hill from 1988 to 1993 before relocating to Belleville in 1994. Since then, he has been a key member of the Orthopaedic team at Quinte Health Corporation, where he continues to run a busy and well-respected surgical practice.

Dr. Ling is now thrilled to be joining the team at Quinte Orthopaedics—a long-held aspiration aimed at enhancing musculoskeletal care in the Quinte region. His dedication to patient care, clinical excellence, and improving access to orthopaedic services is at the heart of his work.
