Austin achieved his degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario. Previous to this, he obtained a degree in Physical and Health Education at the University of Toronto. Austin spent four years in Toronto at a highly prestigious Sports Medicine clinic and then returned to his hometown of Belleville. 
Over the past few years, Austin has taken a variety of postgraduate courses to enhance his skills in manual therapy and acupuncture, including a specialty course in Intramuscular Stimulation (GUNN IMS). Austin is passionate about sports medicine and has received his Sports Certificate through Sports Physiotherapy Canada. He has had the privilege of working with a variety of teams within the OHL, NHL, NCAA and was the Team Physiotherapist for the National Taekwondo Squad, for which he travelled to many world championships.
Austin has his Black Belt in Karate and is passionate about the mind, body, and soul. Austin lives in Belleville with his wife, two children and dog.
